Pea shoots are the tender, upper leaves of the pea plant and have a subtle flavor. A nice complement to the sweet rock shrimp.
This salad is great for the summer. It is light yet filling. The flank steak is marinated in a sweet salty soy marinade and then stir fried and tossed with greens and sprouts.
This recipe was inspired by a Thai dish called laap, which is made with minced or ground chicken, fish, pork, or duck and seasoned with the wonderful flavors of chiles, ginger, fish sauce, and citrus.
