Ginger Sake Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons peeled and grated fresh gingerroot
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 turns freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup sake wine
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl, stir well, and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Serve immediately or store, refrigerated, in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Bring to room temperature before serving.
