- 4 fresh sage leaves
- 1 ½ ounces bourbon
- ½ ounce green Chartreuse
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- ½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
Muddle 3 of the sage leaves in a cocktail shaker, then add the bourbon, Chartreuse, simple syrup, and lemon juice along with a scoop of ice and shake until well-blended and thoroughly chilled.
Pour into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with the remaining sage leaf. Enjoy.
