Hot Fudge Sauce

This fudge sauce is paired with Amy's Ooey Gooey Cake but it is a perfect accompaniment to most ice creams, such as Jerermy's Toasted Marshmallow or even Cookies and Cream.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 3 cups


  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetend chocolate, chopped


  • In a small sauce over medium heat, add the cream, butter and sugar and stir until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture comes up to a simmer. Add the chocolate, remove from the heat and whisk constantly until the mixture begins to come together.

    Serve warm.
