Angel Hair Aglio Olio

Classice Italian pasta dish. Angel hair with garlic and olive oil. Of course you can use any pasta you choose, and feel free to add chopped fresh herbs.

  • Yield: 4 servings


  • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta, cooked, pasta water reserved
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • finely grated Parmesan cheese to garnish, optional


  • To a large skillet heated over low heat, add the oil, garlic and pepper flakes. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes, then add the cooked pasta, salt and pepper and 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine. Serve immediately.
