- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- One-fourth cup pine nuts
- One-fourth cup peeled garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
- One-fourth cup grated Parmesan cheese
- One-third cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
- 2 tablespoons (or more) olive oil
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and process to a smooth paste. Adjust seasoning with salt. Toss with warm pasta and serve as a side dish to fish or poultry.
