Southwest Cowboy Steak With Skillet Corn Sauce And Tortillas
This recipe was adapted for the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 by Tristar.
Ingredients
- 1 flank steak (about 2 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Emerilís Southwest Seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 1/3 cups Skillet Corn Sauce
- 12 Homemade Tortillas
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Rub the meat all over with the oil. Sprinkle it with the Southwest Seasoning and pack the cilantro leaves around the steak. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Skillet Corn Sauce, and keep warm.
Prepare the Homemade Tortillas through Step 1. Preheat the broiler.
Preheat theEmeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 to 425º F on the roast setting.
Place the steak on the crisper tray lined with aluminum foil and sprinkle the top side evenly with the salt. For medium-rare meat, plac the crisper tray on the rack position 2 and roast for 5 to 7 minutes. Turn the meat over and roast for 5 to 7 minutes longer. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Slice diagonally against the grain in thin slices.
Ten minutes before the steak is done, finish the Homemade Tortillas.
To serve, spoon 1/3 cup of the Skillet Corn Sauce on each of 4 dinner plates. Arrange 4 slices of steak and 3 Homemade Tortillas on top of the sauce.
