The Queen's Sauce
A very rich (alcoholic) beverage for festive occasions -- perfect for Mardi Gras parties!
Instructions
In the top of the double boiler place the cream and eggs. Beat well. Add the sugar and vanilla. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon, usually about 10 minutes. Slowly add the brandy or whiskey. Serve in silver goblets.
Yield: 4 servings
