- 5 strips of bacon
- 10 asparagus spears
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Lemon wedge, for serving, optional
Cut the bacon strips in half lengthwise. Wrap one piece of bacon around each asparagus spear, securing it with a toothpick on the ends if necessary. Season the asparagus with pepper to taste. Place the wrapped asparagus on the perforated wire rack of the Emeril 360 Power AirFryer and preheat the Air Fryer to 400 degrees on the Air Fry setting. Air fry the asparagus until crisp-tender and the bacon has rendered its fat and is golden brown, usually about 15 minutes. Remove the toothpicks (if used) and serve hot or warm, with a spritz of lemon juice if desired.
Note: If you do not have an air fryer, this can be roasted in a 400 degree oven for the same length of time, or until bacon is golden and crispy. If your oven has a convection setting, this will help expedite the crisping of the bacon.
