Homemade Tartar Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup homemade or good quality store-bought mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (green part only)
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped capers
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Adjust seasoning to taste. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour before using. Serve chilled within 24 hours.
