SteenĂ­s Duck Marinade

Ingredients

  • 2 cups SteenĂ­s 100% Pure Cane Syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark molasses
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup minced shallots
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons peeled and grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  • Whisk all of the ingredients together in a mixing bowl, mixing well. Pour the mixture into a sterilized 1-quart jar fitted with an airtight lid. Will keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
