Hummus Bi Tahini (chickpea Spread With Sesame Seed Pasta)
Ingredients
- 2 cups canned chickpeas
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons tahini paste
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Drizzle of olive oil
- 1 cup kalamata olives, pitted
- Fresh pita bread
Directions
- Combine the chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini paste, and garlic in a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Process until smooth. With the machine running, slowly add the olive oil in a steady stream. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon the humus in the center of a large platter and drizzle with olive oil. Arrange the black olives and fresh pita bread around the hummus.
