- 3 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 clove garlic, mashed to a paste
- 1 Thai chile, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup water
In a small nonreactive bowl, combine the lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, and Thai chile and stir until the sugar dissolves. Stir in the water and chill or set aside until ready to serve.
