French Toast

  • Yield: 2 servings


  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • One-fourth cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • One-fourth teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 thick slices cinnamon raisin bread


  • Combine the eggs, cinnamon, milk, vanilla and nutmeg in a shallow bowl. Dip each piece of bread in the egg mixture making sure the bread is soaked evenly. Spray a large skillet with non-stick spray and heat over medium heat. Add the bread, one slice at a time, and cook until browned on both sides.
