Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13-inch pan with aluminum foil, then spray with vegetable oil. Arrange the crackers in one layer on the bottom of the pan. Combine sugar and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir cautiously for three minutes, being careful not to burn. Pour the mixture over the crackers and spread evenly. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and pour the chocolate chips over the crackers. Wait one minute for chips to melt, then spread evenly. Cool. Break up the candy and serve.
