Hot Spiced Cider
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a large stockpot. Heat the mixture liquid until it comes to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for four hours.
Makes about three gallons
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 gallons apple cider
- 1 orange peel
- 5 whole cloves
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- 1/8 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1/8 teaspoons grated nutmeg
- 1/2† fifth of dark rum (325 ml)
