Hurricane
A luscious version of what is arguably New Orleans' most famous cocktail. Like the original Hurricane cocktail, this one packs a punch and goes down easily, so proceed with caution!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounces Cruzan Light rum
- 1 1/2 ounces Cruzan Dark rum
- 1 1/2 ounces passion fruit puree
- 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 ounce Monin Pomegranate Flavored Syrup
- Orange wedge, for garnish
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish
Directions
Combine the light and dark rum, passion fruit puree, orange juice, lime juice, and pomegranate syrup in a cocktail shaker with a scoop of ice and shake to chill. Pour the contents into a hurricane glass and garnish with the orange wedge and cherry.
