Romaine, Tomato And Avocado Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce that has been prepared in advance to chill
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 cup seasoned rice wine vinegar

Directions

  • The secret to crisp, cool lettuce is to wash and cut it up, put it in a lettuce spinner and spin dry, and then put the lettuce in a plastic storage bag in the vegetable crisper to chill. (By doing this procedure, you have perfect, crisp, dry lettuce that is ready to be tossed.)
  • Put the lettuce in a large bowl. Dice avocado and tomatoes and toss into lettuce along with sunflower seeds and seasoned rice wine vinegar.
