Homemade Tartar Sauce
Instructions
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Adjust seasoning to taste. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour before using. Serve chilled within 24 hours.
Yield: about 1 1/4 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup homemade or good quality store-bought mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (green part only)
- 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon chopped capers
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
