Homemade Applesauce
Instructions
Wash the apples, then core, quarter, and cut into bite-size pieces. Put them in a medium-size saucepan. Add about 2 tablespoons of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, add the sugar and cook about 20 minutes, or until apples are very tender. Check occasionally to be sure they have enough liquid.
Makes 8 servings

- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
