Strawberry Apple Butter
Instructions
Combine the apples, apple juice and spices in a large saucepan. Bring to boil, then simmer 20 to 25 minutes until very soft. Add the strawberries and simmer 5 minutes. Put the mixture in a food processor or blender, add the sugar and blend until very smooth.
Ingredients
- 6 medium apples, unpeeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 cup apple juice concentrate
- One and one-half teaspoons ground cinnamon
- One-half teaspoon ground allspice
- One-fourth teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 pound bag frozen unsweetened strawberries, thawed
- 1 tablespoon sugar
