New New Creole Pork Chops With White Beans
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Creole White Beans
- 4 large pork loin chops, trimmed (about 8 ounces each and 2 inches thick)
- 4 teaspoons Emeril's Creole Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
- Prepare the Creole White Beans, and cover to keep warm.
- Sprinkle the chops with the Creole Seasoning, using 1/2 teaspoon per side, and with your hands coat the meat.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the chops and sautÈ them for 7 minutes on each side; stand them on their fat edge and cook for another 4 minutes. The pork will be very dark on the outside, pink and juicy on the inside.
- To serve, spread a heaping 1/2 cup of the Creole White Beans on each of 4 plates and top with a pork chop.
