Ginger Sake Sauce

Instructions

Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl, stir well, and allow it to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Serve immediately or store, refrigerated, in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Bring to room temperature before serving.

  • 2 tablespoons peeled and grated fresh gingerroot
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 turns freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sake wine
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
