Haroseth
Instructions
Toss the apples with the lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Add the nuts, sugar, honey, cinnamon, wine and toss gently, mixing well. (This recipe can be made a day ahead and kept covered in the refrigerator.)
Yield: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon† fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup sweet Passover wine or cream sherry
