The 5th Annual Rusty Staub Foundation Celebrity Chefs & Friends Golf Tournament and Dine-Around will be held on Monday, June 29, 2009. The 2009 honoree is Chef Emeril Lagasse.  All proceeds from this event will benefit The Rusty Staub Foundation’s efforts to assist youth and combat hunger.

The golf tournament will take place at the Alpine Country Club in Demarest, NJ, and dinner follows featuring chefs: Mark Fiorentino (Daniel), Geoffrey Zakarian (Country, Town), Ron Straci (owners, Rao’s), Michael Cressotti (SUSHISAMBA), Brian Bistrong (Braeburn), Tim Kopec (Wine Director, Veritas), Kenny Callaghan (Blue Smoke), Bill McDaniel (Red Cat), Ryan Skeen (Irving Mill), Ken Aretsky (Aretsky’s Patroon) andJeff Cicio (Daisy May’s BBQ). Also featured will be comedian Freddy Roman and sports legends Bud Harrelson, Sal Marciano and Gene Michael.

After coming in from the course, a cocktail reception begins at 4:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a seafood bar, and at 5:30 p.m. guests will enjoy the dine-around dinner.
