Emeril's Root Beer Floats

Ingredients

1 liter root beer, chilled
4 large scoops vanilla ice cream
Flavored syrups, such as vanilla or cherry
Crushed root beer candies
4 maraschino cherries, optional

Instructions

Fill soda fountain glasses or other tall glasses 3/4 of the way full with the root beer. Place a scoop of ice cream in each glass. Top with a drizzle of flavored syrup, and sprinkle with the candies. Garnish each with a cherry.
