New Orleans Mojito

Ingredients

7 to 10 fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a glass
1 teaspoon simple syrup
Jigger (or shot) of N. O. Rum
Squeezed fresh lime juice
Club soda
Sprig of fresh mint

Instructions

Muddle the mint leaves and the simple syrup in a glass with a spoon. Add crushed ice and a shot of N.O. Rum. Add the lime juice. Fill the rest of glass with club soda.

Garnish with sprig of mint.

Makes one drink.
