- 2 egg whites
- Three-fourths cup sugar
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- One-eighth teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray.
In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until they begin to stiffen. Blend in the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Stir in the chocolate chips, pecans, vanilla, and salt. Drop the mixture by teaspoonfuls onto the cookie sheet. Place the cookie sheet in the oven and turn off the oven. Leave overnight or until the oven cools. Gently remove the meringues with a wide knife or spatula.
