Braised Red Cabbage |

Instructions
Melt the butter in a heavy skillet; add the onion and simmer for two minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover the pot and braise the mixture over low heat until the cabbage is tender, about one hour. Mix the cabbage from time to time and make sure the liquid does not completely evaporate. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. |
