Wild Rice and Chopped Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 (6-ounce) package wild rice
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • Chicken broth
  • 1 cup toasted, chopped pecans
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped freshly parsley leaves

Instructions

Cook the rice according to package directions, using the chicken broth instead of water when preparing the long-grain white rice. When rice is cooked, mix the wild rice and regular rice together in a serving bowl. Add the pecans, season to taste, and stir in the parsley.
