Fried Plantains

Try these fun banana chips.

Instructions

Preheat the fryer. Peel and thinly slice the plantains crosswise. Fry the plantains in batches until golden brown, about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings
