Emeril Builds on Current Successful Lines with Groupe SEB USA and Lenox/Gorham
New York, February 23, 2011 — Today Emeril Lagasse announced three new partnerships that will debut at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago, March 6-8. The well-known chef will be extending into cutlery with Sterling Home, grills with the Viking Culinary Group, and outdoor tabletop serveware and kitchen prep products with Zak Design. These partnerships build on his already successful lines with Groupe SEB cookware and electrics as well as Lenox/Gorham tabletop.
Sterling Home
Emeril teams up with Sterling Home, a division of Lehrhoff ABL LLC to create the new Emeril™ Cutlery collection made with high-quality cutlery manufactured from German and Chinese steel in both forged and stamped composition. From stainless steel handles with a satin mirror finish to the unique styles of POM and Pakkawood, the design of Emeril™ Cutlery provides a distinctive look to match its fine quality. Complementing the cutlery will be a line of highly styled, environmentally friendly, bamboo cutting boards as well as a new patented-design folding kitchen cart in multiple formats. The Sterling Home booth will be located at S-1869 at the International Housewares Show.
Viking Culinary Group
Born of a longstanding friendship and commitment to innovation shared by Chef Emeril Lagasse and the founder of Viking Range Corporation, Fred Carl, Jr., Emeril™ Outdoor Grills are designed for people who understand that grilling is more than outdoor cooking – it is a passion. Emeril and the Viking Culinary Group have rethought and re-imagined every aspect of grilling to design two outdoor grills that are, simply put, best in class.
The Emeril™ Charcoal Grill, constructed of porcelain-enamel heavy-gauge steel, features four sturdy steel legs, a hinged lid with an integrated thermostat, a hinged grate that allows for easy and neat access to the charcoal, an ample 424-sq. inches of cooking surface, a sturdy storage shelf and a large-capacity, easily removable ash collector.
The Emeril™ Gas Grill, built from rugged steel components, is designed to withstand the elements and provide years of grilling enjoyment. Four powerful burners, stainless steel flavor generator plates, a grease management system, 589-sq. inches of grilling area, and convenient extras like condiment and paper towel storage, accessory tool hooks, and locking wheels combine to take backyard performance to the next level. The Viking Culinary Group will be located at Booth S-4205 at the International Housewares Show.
Zak Designs
Known for its colorful tabletop and kitchen prep products, Zak Designs is partnering with Emeril to create a new line of inspiring outdoor tabletop, serveware and kitchen prep products. These products will deliver the functionality that a professional chef like Emeril looks for in the serveware and kitchen prep products he uses. From mixing bowls that stand up to the most rigorous use to serving trays that are durable enough for even the rowdiest backyard barbeques, Zak’s line of Emeril products will carry the high quality that the chef demands. Of course, it wouldn’t be an Emeril product without a little BAM! And Zak’s Emeril line will include all the color and zest that people have come to expect from one of the country’s favorite chefs. The Zak Designs booth will be located at S-4448 at the International Housewares Show.
In addition to the new partnerships, the Emeril Brand will also continue its strong presence at the Houseware Show through its Groupe SEB and Lenox partnerships.
Groupe SEB USA
After successfully re-launching the entire cookware line in 2010 in partnership with All Clad, Emeril’s cookware offering continues to expand with complementary open stock pieces for the Pro-Clad™, Stainless Steel & Copper, Hard Anodized and cast iron collections in 2011. Key items include a Stainless Steel Lasagna pan and holiday giftable promotional items. The new heavy-gauge carbon steel bakeware line will also be expanding to include a full range of offerings such as a muffin pan, mini pie pans and a springform pan. Tools and gadgets will extend to a full assortment featuring stainless steel, silicone grip items, and wooden utensils.
The T-Fal side of this partnership is adding many new appliances to its assortment. In addition to the successful stainless steel fryer and the popular breadmaker, Emeril’s offerings with T-Fal will include indoor grills, a slow cooker, a pie & cake maker as well as a new mini blender. The Group SEB booth will be located at S-3601 at the International Housewares Show.
Lenox/Gorham
Since 1831 Gorham has been crafting unique tableware. Developed with Emeril, Gorham’s collection of tableware and serveware marries Emeril’s personality with functional, family-friendly products that make entertaining fun. Gorham will also be launching a new barware line that incorporates the signature Emeril fun theme. The Lenox/Gorham booth will be located at S-3239 at the International Housewares Show.
