NEW ORLEANS, LA (Friday, September 5, 2008) – Emeril’s Restaurant, Lagasse’s flagship restaurant in New Orleans’ Warehouse district, reopens Friday, September 5th with dinner service at 5:00pm, as will NOLA, his casual and funky French Quarter outpost.  Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House in Gulfport, Mississippi returned to service on Wednesday.

Emeril’s Chef David Slater is serving original creations like Colorado Lamb Spareribs with Creole Tomato-Chili Glaze and Abita Root Beer Braised “Fresh Bacon” Salad with Citrus Slaw, Goat Cheese and Pork Cracklings. This Sunday, Emeril’s will celebrate the game day festivities by opening the kitchen and bar early at 3:00pm.

At NOLA, Chef Michael Ruoss is once again dishing up favorites like smoked cheddar “Shrimp & Grits”, Garlic Crusted Texas Redfish cooked in the wood fired oven, and Miss Hay’s Stuffed Chicken Wings with Homemade Hoisin Dipping Sauce.

Just an hour east of New Orleans on the Gulf of Mexico, Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House at the Island View Casino Resort in Gulfport, Mississippi, is back with weekday lunch, nightly dinner and Sunday brunch. Chef Steve D’Angelo is at his post, serving Coastal Creole cuisine utilizing local farm products and fresh local seafood.

Emeril’s Delmonico, whose staff is providing support at Emeril’s and NOLA as employees make their way back to the city, will return to service soon, as will Emeril’s and NOLA’s lunch hours.
