New Orleans, LA (February 20, 2008) – Emeril’s Homebase, Chef Emeril Lagasse’s corporate office, today announced promotions and new members to its staff. Emeril’s Homebase is located in downtown New Orleans and houses Lagasse’s restaurant operations, as well as cookbook and recipe development and testing, the emerils.com website and product shipping, and a store front for Lagasse’s signature products.
Sandra Odom, Senior Sales Manager, Emeril’s Homebase
Sandra Odom joins Emeril’s Homebase as Senior Sales Manager. Odom has over 20 years of experience in sales, hospitality and marketing at prominent area properties including InterContinental Hotels Group, Westin Hotels and Sheraton Hotels, and Hilton Hotels of Lafayette. In addition to private party and event planning, Odom will oversee sales efforts at Emeril Lagasse’s three New Orleans restaurants and Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
David Slater, Chef de Cuisine, Emeril’s Restaurant
David Slater has been promoted to Chef de Cuisine at Emeril’s Restaurant. Slater is an eight year veteran of the Emeril’s family, and was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at Emeril’s. The Toronto-native has cooked professionally since 1998, working at Emeril’s Orlando as well as top restaurants in New Orleans and Manhattan.
