Hey guys! Ready for some holiday recipes? During the last few years, I've been collecting some of my favorite recipes that I like to prepare for the holiday season, but they can be served all during the year---for dinner parties, cocktail parties, small intimate gatherings, or just to give yourself a treat!
In Louisiana, we always like to give something extra, a little lagniappe. I know that every family has its own traditional menus, but sometimes, it's fun to try something new. I'm a great believer in using what is in season or what's available in your neck of the woods. If you live on the coast, there is always a wealth of fresh seafood. If you're a hunter, you might bring home some quail. Check out your local produce markets! If you've never tried tuna, perhaps now is the time! Walk on the wild side and eat something new and different every now and then.
