Emeril's Homebase
The corporate office in New Orleans - Homebase - handles most of the financial and administrative tasks of Chef Emeril's restaurants and other business concerns. Chef Emeril's office is located at Homebase, as are the Operations, Culinary, Finance/Accounting, Marketing, Merchandise, and Human Resources Departments.

The employees at Homebase include culinary writers and test kitchen personnel, accountants, marketing and publicity personnel, human resources representatives, merchandising personnel, administrative assistants, and other employees.

Emeril's restaurants' managers generally are promoted from within the ranks of our employees. In order to prepare potential management candidates for management, we have established a Management Development Program in each of the restaurants. Under this program, a limited number of employees are selected as management candidates. These employees receive hands-on training in key aspects of management in order to prepare them for possible advancement into management.
Management Benefits
Managers in our restaurants are offered challenging and rewarding opportunities. Our management benefits package currently includes:
- Company paid health, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance
- In-House dining privileges during work hours
- Five day work week (possibility of consecutive days off)
- Two weeks (10 working days) paid time off immediately
- Three weeks (15 working days) paid time off after two years as manager
- 401k plan (eligible after one year of service)
- Merchandise and dining discounts

Non-management positions vary slightly from restaurant to restaurant, but may include:
