In the November 2004 issue of the UK’S food magazine, “Olive”, chef Marco Pierre White (the first British chef to be awarded three Micheline stars) writes a particularly inspiring and well-written piece on the pineapple. Beware pizza fans, Chef Marco has strong feelings for pineapple as a pizza topping.

There’s a clever company out of San Francisco called SmartsCo that puts out fun, colorful and educational items like a take-the-mystery-out-wine flash card set called WineSmarts and its handy companion, the WineNotes journal to help you accurately record all those trial and error bottles of wine. Now the company has dived into food.
