Japanese Bubble Gum

Post Author: Jenny McCoy

Japanese Bubble Gum

At the end of a recent dinner of sushi, these tiny packages of Japanese bubble gum were presented with my bill. So cute and so delicious! Surprisingly, the bubble gum tasted just like fresh honeydew melon and Valencia oranges! Now I need to find a Japanese candy shop, so I can find more flavors!

If you can get any of it, you should try some of their “jerky.”

Things they’ve turned into jerky I’ve never seen before, but they’re all over Japan.

Other interesting flavors combined with very different vehicles to deliver them from what we know in the U.S.

And hey, it’s all in Japanese (pretty much), so you know it’s going to be a surprise!

Heh, I used to work at a Japanese grocery store in Dallas, and we sold that gum. I package had like 10 of those little boxes, and like 5 different flavors if memory serves.
