Yummy

Post Author: Lorin Gaudin

Ever tried running a search on the word yummy? Well, the number of hits is astounding, but after weeding through the mass, I found a really, um, yummy site.

Growing up, my mom always brought home palmiers (elephant ears, shoe soles, etc) from the bakery. Light, flaky and mildly sweet, there is nothing nicer than a the taste of crumbly puff pastry bits melting in your mouth and covering your lap. When I don’t feel like making my own, the best resource for truly delectible palmiers is Anna Jones’ puffs found at www.yummypuff.com.

Anna’s puff pastry cookies are beautiful and come in a fabulous range of flavors like lemon tarragon, French Cocoa, Earl Grey or sweet curry and molasses. Order by the bag, or box, Anna’s Puffs run about $1.50 per cookie.
