Emeril’s Restaurants in New Orleans to Reopen for Dinner Friday

Emeril’s restaurants (Emeril’s, NOLA, and Emeril’s Delmonico) will not reopen until dinner service on Friday, August 31, to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. Employees should contact their manager to find out what time to report to work on Friday or in case of an emergency.

Emeril’s Homebase to Reopen Friday Morning

Emeril’s Homebase will reopen Friday morning, August 31, for normal business hours. Employees should contact their manager in case of an emergency.

Emeril’s New Orleans

Emeril’s will close Monday, August 27, and reopen Thursday, August 30 for dinner. Employees should contact their manager before leaving Monday and receive instructions on what time to return to work on Thursday. The restaurant will resume dinner service on Thursday and normal lunch and dinner operations starting Friday.

Emeril’s Delmonico

Emeril’s Delmonico will close Monday, August 27, and reopen Thursday, August 30 for dinner. Employees should contact their manager before leaving Monday and receive instructions on what time to return to work on Thursday. The restaurant will resume dinner service and normal operations on Thursday.

NOLA Restaurant

NOLA restaurant will be open for dinner service on Monday, August 27. The restaurant will be closed all day Tuesday, August 28, and Wednesday, August 29. The restaurant will reopen for dinner service on Thursday, August 30. Employees should contact their manager before leaving Monday and receive instructions on what time to return to work on Thursday.

Emerils.com Product Orders

Customers may continue to order from Emerils.com, but the orders will not be processed and shipped until Thursday, August 30. Please note the warehouse will be closed beginning Monday, August 27 at 2 p.m. and will reopen Thursday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m. CST.

Emeril’s Homebase

Emeril’s Homebase will close at 2 p.m. Monday, August 27, and reopen Thursday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m. Employees should check in with your manager before leaving work on Monday.

Emeril’s senior management team returned to New Orleans early this morning, and after evaluating our properties we are happy to announce that they sustained minimal damage. Power has been restored to our three restaurants in New Orleans and Emeril’s Homebase.

Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House in Gulfport, Mississippi reopened for dinner this evening, Wednesday, September 3.

Emeril’s Restaurant and NOLA Restaurant in New Orleans will reopen on Friday, September 5, with dinner service at 6:00pm. Emeril’s Delmonico is expected to reopen on Monday, September 15.

All Emeril’s restaurant employees should check in with their direct supervisor to determine their work schedules.

Emeril’s Homebase will reopen on the morning of Friday, September 5.

Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House will be closed on Tuesday, September 2, as we evaluate the availability of city services. We expect the restaurant to resume normal operations once the Island View Casino Resort is granted Mississippi Gaming Commission approval to reopen.

A mandatory evacuation was declared for the city of New Orleans and the surrounding area as of Sunday, August 31. Operations were suspended at Emeril’s restaurants on the Gulf Coast at the close of business on Friday, August 29; facilities were secured and employees were encouraged to implement their emergency evacuation plans.

Emeril’s Gulf Coast Restaurants Close Ahead of Storm

Emeril’s Restaurant, NOLA Restaurant, Emeril’s Delmonico, Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House, and Emeril’s Homebase remain closed as we continue to monitor the progress of Hurricane Gustav.

Emeril’s senior leadership chose to suspend operations at Emeril’s restaurants in New Orleans and Gulfport, Mississippi as of Saturday, August 30, to ensure the safety of employees and their families.

Emeril’s Homebase continues to monitor the potential impact of Gustav on the Gulf Coast.

Beginning Saturday, August 30, operations will be suspended at Emeril’s Restaurant, NOLA Restaurant,  Emeril’s Delmonico and Emeril’s Homebase in New Orleans and Emeril’s Gulf Coast Fish House in Gulfport, Mississippi. Emeril’s Delmonico will also suspend dinner service on Friday, August 29.

At this time, it is anticipated that regular service will resume as soon as the threat has passed.

Emeril’s restaurants in Orlando, Miami and Las Vegas are unaffected by this announcement.

Current forecasts continue to show Gustav projected to be in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday and moving toward the Louisiana coast on Tuesday morning.
